Estate Appraisal
Estate settlement is an important and often a
stressful task. You as an executor have moral and ethical responsibility to carry out the
wishes of the deceased as swiftly and accurately as possible. You can rely on our unbiased
and objective service to perform quickly and with outmost sensibility and care to all
parties involved.
Accountants, Attorneys and Estate
planners often use our services and we are familiar with their needs and requirements. We know how to prepare appraisal reports that meet
the requirements of the court and all agencies involved in estate planning.
Estate
Appraisal effective date has to be as of the date of the death, which is often prior to
the date that the appraisal was requested, and it is called retrospective appraisal
report. The appraiser has to use market data and comparables that were closed prior to the
date of death because those data are the indicative of market value for the property when
the death occurred. To collect and analyze market data from the past requires resources
and experience. We know how to get access to historical market data and how to prepare a
meaningful, honest, accurate and supportable appraisal report that meets the requirement
of the court and other involved agencies.
